It has to be The Fallen Star so far (given how I haven't yet been able to dive into the Phase 2 projects). As for characters... yipes! Too many to choose really... possibly Bell, Elzar, Avon, Burry. A tie between these, haha!
My favorite character is totally Reath Silas! I really connect with his love of just bunkering down in a library, but also his growth into realizing that adventures can have their benefits too. My favorite book is The Rising Storm, because of how the ending crushed me so much.
I have to go with my OG book and that’s the light of the Jedi. No one can take away the excitement the book gave us! It made the little geek inside us want to burst. I couldn’t choose a character, it’s like choosing a favourite child haha!! Thanks for inspiring me to read, especially being a younger side of a Star Wars fan. Keep being you!

I haven’t actually started reading the high republic books yet 😭 although I have Light of the Jedi, the Rising Storm and the Fallen Star, I’m yet to start them but I’ll put the Rising Storm as my fav book because I’ve got the Out of Print special edition cover that I love to look at!

I actually really liked the YA books in Phase 1 - absolutely LOVED Reath and Vernestra!
