Thankful for the Star Wars books of 2024

All the Star Wars books that came out in 2024

There were 30 Star Wars books released this year. That includes new novels, The High Republic books, art and reference books, and several audio originals. Honestly, I may have missed a few in this list, and I didn’t include all the new and ongoing comic series.

The end of 2024 marks four years of Star Wars book reviewing and content creation, and I’m continuously thankful for the opportunities this fandom has granted me. I’m also thankful to exist in a time when we get dozens of new Star Wars books every year. While it’s still not easy to be a Star Wars fan online, I’ve found the bookish community to be one of the friendliest and least toxic parts of the galaxy.

Once I finish Tempest Breaker, I’ll share my favorite Star Wars reads of the year.

In the last month of 2024, there are still new Star Wars stories to tell. The next High Republic audio drama, Tempest Breaker, comes out on Dec. 3. The same day, Beth Revis’ adorable Someone Who Loves You children’s book drops.
