Breaking book news: Read the first four chapters of 'The High Republic: Convergence'

So, um, Del Rey just dropped the first four chapters of a highly-anticipated Star Wars book that doesn’t come out for another month.

That book is Convergence, the first adult novel in the second phase of The High Republic era. The novel by Zoraida Córdova arrives on Nov. 22, 2022.

This phase of The High Republic storytelling takes place 150 years before phase one — marking this part of the timeline as more than 300 years before the Skywalker saga. The opening crawl of this phase describes it as a time of great exploration and Republic- and Jedi-led efforts to unite the galaxy.
